At 0333hrs, SCDF received a call alerting us of buses on fire at Ang Mo Kio, Bus Depot, Ang Mo Kio St 63. Upon receiving the notification, SCDF resources which included 2 Fire Engines, 1 Red Rhino, 1 supporting vehicle, with approximately 20 personnel were dispatched. SCDF arrived at location within 3 minutes. Fire was brought under control within 30 minutes of the arrival of SCDF. Fire was confined to the six double decked buses in the open area. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
