SCDF has handed the management of the incident site to Shell.
SCDF will begin to gradually scale down its resources starting from 0900hrs today (2 October 2011), in preparation to move into the recovery phase which will be managed by Shell.
The scaling down by SCDF will entail progressive withdrawal of resources, with sufficient resources remaining on the island to support Shell.
No further reported injuries at the time of this news release.
