At 1531 hours, SCDF received a call for a fire involving a centralised ventilation duct and part of the roof.
SCDF resources which included 1 Fire engine, 2 Fire bikes, 1 Red Rhino, 1 Support Vehicle, 1 Ambulance were immediately dispatched to the incident location. Fire was under control within 5 minutes of SCDF's arrival. Prior to SCDF's arrival, 2 members of public tried to put out the fire using a fire extinguisher and an internal hose reel.
There was no one injured in this incident. The cause of fire is still under investigation.
