At 1754hrs, SCDF was alerted to a factory fire at No. 4 Defu Lane 12. Upon receiving the notification,SCDF dispatched 3 fire engines , 2 Red Rhino, 2 Fire Bikes and 5 Support Vehicles.

Upon arrival, the fire was well alight. Fire involved the contents of auto parts workshop, measuring approximately 30m x 30m. Fire was brought under control within 30mins and was extinguished using 11 water jets. At the time of this report, there were no reports of anyone being injured. The cause of fire is under investigation.
