This morning at 9.58am, SCDF was alerted to a fire at Blk 2019 Bukit Batok St 23.
4 Fire Engines, 2 Firebikes, 2 Red Rhinos and 4 Support Vehicles were immediately dispatched to the incident site. Upon arrival, fire was found raging from a ground unit of the flatted factory. The affected premises deal in electrical products.
SCDF firefighters set up a total of 8 water jets and prevented the fire from spreading to the neighbouring units. Firefighters donning breathing apparatus sets brought the fire under control in about 20 minutes.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
