At 0900hrs, SCDF received a call for a road traffic accident involving a lorry at bus stop along 216 Loyang Avenue.
1 Fire engine, 1 Red Rhino, 2 Ambulances and 2 Supporting Vehicleswere immediately dispatched to the incident location. On arrival, the crew found three persons; a male Chinese and two male Indians, were trapped in the front cabin of the vehicle. The front cabin had flipped and was impacted against a bus stop bollard. SCDF rescuers used hydraulic cutters, spreaders and an extension ram to rescue the trapped casualties.
The casualties were conveyed to Changi General Hospital. All casualties were conscious en route to hospital.
