SCDF 5-man search team and their search dogs arrived at Soma City, Fukushima on 13 March 2011 at 1530 hrs (Singapore time).
As Fukushima nuclear facilities have become less stable over the last 24 hours, the Japanese authorities have advised all personnel in Soma City to leave the area as a safety precautionary measure. As advised by the Japanese authorities, the SCDF team has departed Soma City for Fukushima Airport at 1800hrs on 15 March 2011 (Singapore time) where they could be redeployed to another location.
