The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will be conducting an operational exercise at Orchid Country Club, 1 Orchid Club Road, on Wednesday, 14 March 2012. The exercise will begin at 12.00am and end at about 2.00am.
Such exercises are part of SCDF"s on-going efforts to validate and update operational plans and procedures. In total, about 70 personnel and about 15 emergency and supporting vehicles will be participating in this exercise.
All SCDF vehicles participating in this exercise will have their beacon lights turned on to alert motorists. Exercise signages will also be placed at prominent locations to keep members of public informed of the exercise.
The public is advised not to be alarmed.
